Derbyshire Senior county team have a resounding win against Mersyside followed up by the Derbyshire Alliance team who have beat the potteries to make it a perfect start to this years campaigns.

The new floodlights will be installed prior to the start of the season. The green is also now open for practice.

The Romiley Arms recently held their AGM following one of their most succesful seasons in 2006. The clubs teams won five divisional trophys in three different leagues.
The club are always on the lookout for new members and any who might be interested can contact secretary Keith Fantom on 0161 430 6379.

Romiley AGM will be held at the Friendship in Romiley 15.3.7 at 8pm.
Due to club success on playing front we are also treating this as a social get together & Hot Pot supper & FreeDrink will be provided as a "well done" to all team members.
At a recent committee meeting approx £1100.00 was sanctioned to carry out installation of 8-new heads for floodlights. We have felt for some time that this work is necessary and I believe that most people in the club would agree. As a result of this proposed expenditure we will be short of funds to pay any early season league fees etc. Should any member feel able to pay 2007 subs at the AGM, IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED. Please note that there may be a small increase,dependant on the vote at the AGM.
